Transsexual accommodation

Your policy “Delivering Same Sex Accommodation” states this simply means providing an environment where men and women do not share sleeping accommodation. It also states (Transgender) patients should be accommodated according to their presentation. It further states, in the Equality Impact Assessment, that a male identifying as a woman may be nursed in a female bay if a side room cannot be sourced.

Please can you tell me how many “males identifying as women” have been admitted to any of your female bays, across all your inpatient sites, in the last 5 years? How are these males recorded on your computer systems?
