Have your say on hospital care by taking part in the Big Quality Conversation

Patients, their carers, families and friends are being asked to share what matters most to them when they are in Worcestershire’s hospitals, to help inform plans for further improving patient experiences and quality of care in the future.

Hospital leaders at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust – which runs the Alexandra, Kidderminster and Worcestershire Royal Hospitals – are encouraging people to have their say by taking part in the Big Quality Conversation.

The short anonymous online survey, which is available in 95 languages, asks questions about safety, effectiveness of treatment and the overall experience of hospital care, and the results will be used to inform the safety and quality priorities of the Trust.

Jackie Edwards, Interim Chief Nursing Officer at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “It’s really important to us that we continue to deliver continuous improvements to the quality of the care we provide for our patients when they are in our care, and one of the best ways we can do this is by shaping our plans based on what our patients, carers and community are telling us is important.

“The Big Quality Conversation survey is a key way for us to hear about the experiences of our patients, carers and community to understand the quality and safety of the services you, or someone you care for, received at one of our hospitals. By sharing your views, you can help to make a real difference for the better for our patients and support our staff in their efforts to put patients first and deliver the high standards of care to which they aspire.”
