Persistent high levels of anti-cardiolipin antibodies are associated with anti-phospholipid syndrome, characterised by a risk of arterial or venous thrombosis. Please check lupus anticoagulant (Haematology) at the same time. Positive results should be repeated in 12 weeks time for confirmation.
