Test information

Positive in Goodpasture’s syndrome/anti-GBM disease. A test to exclude the presence of these antibodies is currently in use. Immunofluorescence of a renal biopsy is the suggested method of diagnosing anti-GBM disease in patients with rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis.
