Please clearly state the site of which the swab was taken. These sites can include: Cervical, HVS, LVS, Rectal, Throat, Urethral or Vault. A cervical swab is the preferred genital swab for female samples. Multiple sites may be swabbed for testing.

This is a test requested by the GUM clinics for GC only on a variety of swab types. Tests performed in a UKAS Accredited Medical Laboratory No. 8873.

Please ensure the swab is fully rotated to ensure the tip is covered in matter. If there is a delay in sending the swabs to the laboratory, please refrigerate.
