Test information

Antiepileptic drug. Good correlation between seizure control and serum level. Approximate time to steady state 4-6 days. Concomitant therapy with other anticonvulsants has a marked effect on clearance. Valproate doubles half-life whilst carbamazepine and phenobarbitone reduce half life.
