Vestibular Physiotherapy

We offer comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatment for individuals experiencing dizziness and general vestibular disorders. Our services are designed to address a wide range of vestibular conditions through tailored interventions.

Our Vestibular Rehabilitation service is provided in an outpatient setting, aimed at helping recovery and empowering individuals to self-manage their condition effectively.

We provide care for a variety of conditions, including:

  • Acoustic neuromas (Vestibular Schwannoma)
  • Autoimmune ear disorders
  • Age-related vestibular loss
  • Bilateral Vestibulopathy (pharmacologically induced)
  • Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)
  • Meniere’s Disease
  • Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD)
  • Vestibular Migraine
  • Vestibular Neuritis / Labyrinthitis (Unilateral Vestibulopathy)
  • Visually-induced dizziness

The assessment and treatment process may include a combination of targeted exercises, such as eye, head, walking, and balance training, alongside specific clinical manoeuvres, depending on the nature of the condition.

We offer one-to-one physiotherapy sessions:

  • in person
  • via telephone
  • video consultations

We treat individuals with vestibular disorders at three locations: Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, and Kidderminster Hospital.

We will collaborate with you to develop a personalised treatment plan that best addresses your condition.

Our vestibular physiotherapy service is integrated with the Balance Clinic to ensure comprehensive care.

We will only accept referrals that they have been screened by ENT with the clinic letter enclosed.
