We have a Facebook page (Worcestershire Juvenile Diabetes Facebook page) and there is a Diabetes UK Wyre Forest (Kidderminster) Branch/Self-Help group. Contact Fred Holland on 01562 68649.

We run social occasions such as a Christmas party for younger children and a summer BBQ for children and families. Your Paediatric Diabetes Nurse can also put you in touch with another family for support if you wish to do this.

The Paediatric Diabetes Team also run an annual residential activity weekend for 8- to 13-year-olds and an activity day for teenagers which are both good events to raise self-esteem in young people with diabetes.
