New resources incoming.

We’ve been securing new resources for our staff and students, including new books and e-resources.

Our new books are displayed in the ‘New Books’ section of each library, or available to view via our online catalogue. These include newest editions of core texts and reference items as well as some specifically requested items from you, our staff and students.

We are also very pleased to announce that thanks to support from the CPD fund we are housing several new e-resources for Worcestershire Acute Trust staff and students – you will see them on our Online Resources page.

You said, we listened: Evesham Health Library

We have heard your feedback that our Evesham branch could use some newer resources and we are working on improving the library for you – we’ll be withdrawing out of date stock and reaching out to trainers, students, and staff to make sure we get the right resources for you. In the meantime, whilst this work is ongoing, don’t forget you can request items from any of our other sites via our library catalogue so that you can still get the items you need and you will still have access to all our online resources. Any issues, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Celebrate 2026 – The Year of Reading

Yes, it’s official, 2026 has been declared The Year of Reading – encouraging all of us to read more and encourage reading in our day-to-day lives to support ourselves, children, and the wider community.

Reading comes in many forms, from academic texts, articles, and study books, to reading for fun, wellbeing, or listening to audiobooks (yes, they count), reading is for all and is a crucial skill.

Check out our libraries to see if we have the right reads for you or sign up to your local public library.
We’re here to champion reading and literacy and all the benefits it can bring.

Library Newsletters

Starting in 2026 – we will pop our quarterly newsletter here, so you can see what we’re doing to help our users, celebrate the library and information sector and to promote our events and services, so you can get to know our team and what we can do for you.
